Details
Learn San Francisco’s history and share a few drinks on this historical walking tour held on the 120th anniversary of the 1906 Earthquake and Fire. This special edition of the tour includes three bar stops with cocktails.
The tour begins at The Old Ship Saloon, the site of the city's oldest continually operating bar, where we'll learn about the early days of the Gold Rush. Then we'll head over toward the Transamerica Pyramid, the former home of the Pisco Punch, to talk about the opulent years just before the quake.
Near the site of some surviving buildings, we'll cover the quake itself, and three days of fires. After a pit stop for a drink at High Horse along the way, we'll discuss the city's quick recovery and take a stroll down the former party avenue nicknamed "Terrific Street." The tour end in the restored 1907 Comstock Saloon for a final cocktail and snacks as we toast to San Francisco, the city that rose from ashes!
