Grab a drink, mingle in community, and get your copy of ICA SF’s first ever exhibition catalogue for David Antonio Cruz: stay, take your time, my love.
- 6:00pm: Doors open to the public, catalogues for sale
- 6:30pm: Artist talk begins
Afterwards, join the official afterparty at The Third Floor at The Jay Hotel.
Supported by Pamela and David Hornik and designed by Miko McGinty, the catalogue centers Cruz’s voice and process. Contributions include essays and interviews by Meghan Smith, curator and activist Jasmine Wahi, and scholar Timothy E. Bradley, who together trace Cruz’s evolving practice, the politics of queer visibility, and the power of chosen family. The book culminates in a section designed by Cruz himself—revealing glimpses into his studio, art historical influences, photoshoots, and personal archives.
Members at the Curator’s Club level and above get access to a special champagne toast with David Antonio Cruz. Not a member yet? Join today!
