Freesia and Samson Lee are the literal mom & pop duo behind Worst Quality Crab. Freesia is a 5th generation San Franciscan, occasional leadership & life coach, and does all things press-related for the Asian Art Museum. Samson is originally from New York, still quietly clings onto his East Coast bias, and has worked in the Ad-Tech industry for many, many years. When not working or podcasting, they are trying to cultivate food traditions new and old with their three young daughters.
Margot Seeto is a freelance writer from San Francisco, who has since called many cities and countries home. She first cut her journalistic teeth at the Honolulu Weekly, and has since written for Thrillist, SFGATE, San Francisco Chronicle, Esquire, The Bold Italic, An Injustice!, FLUX magazine, go! airlines innov8 in-flight magazine, Contrast, Lei Chic, The Hawai‘i Independent, the City and County of Honolulu, Hallowbaloo Music + Arts Festival, Seattle’s The International Examiner, and was music editor of Hyphen magazine. She was also a writing tutor for Sydney Story Factory, one of 826 Valencia’s Australian sister organizations.
Eric Ehler is a chef based in San Francisco, California. Adopted from Korea into rural Iowa, Eric grew up loving food, mainly midwest comfort and his local Chinese take outs. Inspired to become a chef and learn more about his Asian heritage, Eric came to San Francisco. Over the past decade, Eric has cooked everything from Korean street food to classic French to Michelin starred Chinese dining.Eric loves the finesse of fine dining, but his favorite foods will always be take out and pizza. On his days off you can find him skateboarding or biking the City.
Deanna Ulrich has lived in San Francisco for 10 years as a creative, a mover, and now a new dog mom. She maintains a strong yearning for Martin’s Potato Rolls.
