Improve your game with free lessons from Mechanics' Institute’s masters or challenge your mates on our jumbo chess board at the Mechanics Monument Plaza. Learn directly from the best, including International Master Elliott Winslow and Zorba Hughes, who’ll be on hand to offer guidance and challenges for all levels. Chess Instructors will be on the Plaza from 12 PM - 1 PM.
This event is free and open to the public; no RSVP required.
