Eduardo “Ed” Varez is a music producer, artist and songwriter originally from Lima, Peru. He relocated to the US as a teenager, still in the states and going strong with his music career. When he was only 12, Ed became passionate about music and took his very first piano lessons. He showed interest in many genres, ranging from pop and rock down to blues jazz, Latin and folk, only to mention a few. He specializes in creating music with a distinctive vibe and a very personal feel, often reminiscent of artists such as Jarabe De Palo, as well as Jamiroquai. This versatile performer had the opportunity to hit the stage at some of the world’s most famous venues, including LA’s Whisky A Go Go, as well as San Francisco’s Pier 39, only to mention a few. To this day, Ed continues to produce high-quality music, setting the bar higher in the constant chase for “that perfect sound,” and featuring new elements in his compositions. He has performed with many artists like Kenneith Perrin and bands such as Beforia and Baru, exploring different styles and genres.
