- Huckleberry Youth Programs: Huckleberry delivers client-centered, holistic services including health care and health education, counseling/therapy, college access programming, juvenile justice prevention and intervention, a crisis shelter, case management, and more to young people and their families, advancing their personal growth and social equity.
- Openhouse: Openhouse enables San Francisco Bay Area LGBTQ+ seniors to overcome the unique challenges they face as they age by providing housing, direct services and community programs. At Openhouse, everyone is a community member.
- San Francisco SafeHouse: SafeHouse works to empower and support Womxn who are experiencing housing instability and sexual exploitation or trafficking, by creating survivor-centered spaces, services, advocacy, and community education.
Good Giggles is brought to you by the Average Foundation. Founded by Elisha Tan, a Singaporean comedian based in the Bay Area, Average Foundation funds small acts of kindness in the community.
Lineup:
- Jesse Fernandez: San Francisco-based comedian who has performed comedy in 9 countries, at 11 SF Sketchfests, and he’s a featured act at Punch Line Comedy Club, Cobb’s Comedy Club, Rooster T Feathers Comedy Club, and more. His comedy has been seen on AJ+, MSN, Starbucks, Hitachi, Salesforce, TED Talks, Discovery Channel, Zynga, eBaum’s World, and The Onion Gamer Network. His work has won Emmy Awards, Webby Awards, and Shorty Awards, among many others.
- Saku Yanagawa: Japanese comedian based in Chicago, having performed in over 10 countries and across the US at notable venues including Laugh Factory, Second City, Zanies, and The Comedy Store. He has appeared in and headlined many comedy festivals globally, including the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, and Fuji Rock Festival in Japan. He also appeared on “NBC’s Break Out Comedy Festival” and “StandUp NBC”. Saku was selected “Forbes 30 Under 30” as a comedian in 2021 and founded The World Comedy Expo.
- Subhah Agarwal: Subhah has written for Netflix’s “Arsenio! Live,” “The Jim Jefferies Show” on Comedy Central, and “Comedy Knockout” on TruTv, amongst others. You can also catch her jokes live at stand-up comedy clubs across the country. If you don’t want to leave your couch, you can stream her debut Comedy Dynamics special “Airport Pigeon” on most platforms including Amazon, or her album “Dog Show” released with Blonde Medicine Records. You can see her late night debut on NBC’s “A Little Late With Lilly Singh.”
- Yumi Nagashima: Tokyo-born actress, writer, and international comedian with an unforgettable allure. If you haven’t seen her viral videos on social media or YouTube, you might recognize her from her many TV appearances on Montreal’s Just For Laughs, Winnipeg Comedy Festival, CBC Gem – New Wave of Stand up, Comedy Central Asia or the Jakarta International Comedy Festival. She released her debut stand-up comedy album, My Name is Yumi, in 2019 and her fandom has only grown since.
- Elisha Tan: A Singaporean comic based in the Bay Area, Elisha turns the perplexing journey of navigating a different culture and the societal expectations placed on women into relatable and hilarious stories. Elisha’s comedy has taken her across the globe, performing in the USA, Singapore, Germany, Ireland, and England. She has lit up the stages of world-renowned clubs like the Laugh Factory, Punch Line San Francisco, Cobb’s Comedy Club, and Comedy Crunch (Dublin). Elisha founded Average Foundation, a community fund supporting small social impact projects.
- Emily Rudolph: Originally from Phoenix, Arizona, you can catch her at Alameda Comedy Club, Cobb’s Comedy Club, and House of Comedy AZ where she has shared the spotlight with comedy icons like Rich Voss, Alex Hooper, Corey Rodriguez, Paul Farahvar, and April Macie. Emily has headlined at Cobb’s Comedy Club for the first time in February 2024.
- Stroy Moyd: Comedian, producer, and owner of The Function - the first and only Black-owned comedy club in the Bay Area. Stroy’s comedy revolves around his life experiences, urban culture, and observations about society, making him a prominent figure in the international comedy scene. He regularly performs at popular clubs like Improv, Punch Line San Francisco, and Cobb’s Comedy Club, and has worked with comedy juggernauts such as Dave Chappelle and Hannibal Buress.
$.25 per each ticket sold for a majority of events at Punch Line benefits Comedy Gives Back, a safety net for the comedy community.
