Join Mr. Mahjong's for a fun, loud, and love-filled Filipino Mahjong day!

Ever wanted to play Mahjong with the Titas and Titos at family parties but didn’t know the rules? Or got yelled at for not knowing when to bunot? Let’s fix that!

🗓️ March 1 | 2 – 6 PM
📍 Mr. Mahjong's | 260 Kearny Street

Your Filipino Professionals Association is collaborating with Mr. Mahjong's, Malaya Botanicals, and Dyanna Luna, to bring you a family-friendly experience with instructors teaching our Filipino version of Mahjong—from bunot, pong, chow, kang, to knowing when someone’s about to go puro or pull an escalera. This is YFPA's first community-networking event of 2026, so come through and connect not only tiles but long lasting and meaningful relationships.

And yes… start the kids early so they can switch in when the iron is hot at the mahjong table. Because someone always needs a sub when the luck is flowing! Come learn, play, laugh, and finally sit at the table like you belong—no side-eye from the Titas this time!

A Little History:

Mahjong originated in China and made its way to the Philippines through centuries of Chinese-Filipino trade and migration. Families adapted the game with different house rules.
