Celebrate 30 years of Foodwise farmers markets and community at the freshest and most delicious party of the season. At Foodwise Summer Bash, you’ll feast on unlimited food and drink from 45 beloved Bay Area restaurants and beverage makers, featuring peak-summer produce from the Ferry Plaza Farmers Market and Mission Community Market.
From the sunny outdoor Embarcadero promenade to the gorgeous Grand Hall upstairs, experience an epic summer party to remember at San Francisco’s iconic Ferry Building:
- Savor impeccable food and drink from 30 top restaurants and 15 of the region’s finest spirit companies, wineries, breweries, and beverage makers
- Explore the Ferry Building outdoors and inside, with activities, music, and surprises around every corner
- Win one-of-a-kind food experiences in the Summer Bash Auction
And it’s all for a good cause! Join us in supporting local farms, food access, and education, and toasting the sustainable, equitable, and nourishing food future we are growing together.

A Party with a Mission
Proceeds provide vital funds for Foodwise’s farmers markets, food access initiatives, and education programs, which serve thousands of Bay Area residents and more than 130 local farms and small food businesses. Foodwise’s free education programs include Foodwise Kids and Foodwise Teens, which serve more than 3,000 students and their families.
Sliding Scale Tickets
Foodwise aims to make our fundraising events accessible to community members on a wide range of budgets, so we are offering sliding scale priced tickets. We ask that all attendees consider their access, privilege, and resources when choosing a ticket price. In San Francisco, the living wage annual income is $62,220 for an individual with no children (read more here). We have a limited number of lower priced tickets available for guests on a tight budget. If you can afford to do so, please choose the “Pay It Forward” ticket to help make this event more accessible for more community members, while helping Foodwise cover the costs of this event and meet our fundraising goals for our free education programs.
