Mechanics Monument Plaza is proud to be home to a variety of Jazz Mafia combos every Wednesday from 12-2 PM, transforming this iconic downtown space into a vibrant lunchtime retreat. Grab your lunch, take a seat, and soak up the sounds of the Bay Area’s best jazz artists. It’s guaranteed to brighten your day! 


Featured Artist: The Beatles Reimagined

Following sold-out Stevie Wonder Reimagined and Prince Reimagined shows, Jazz Mafia returns with a new project exploring the music of The Beatles through a modern lens. Led by multi-instrumentalist and vocalist Otis McDonald, the core acoustic ensemble reimagines the legendary catalog with fresh grooves, inventive arrangements, and unexpected musical backdrops.

Personnel include Mike Olmos (trumpet), Tommy Occhiuto (sax), Adam Theis (trombone), Colin Hogan, (keys), Josh Thurston Milgrom (upright bass), and Henry Plumb (drums).
