The Story
"The journey of Little Moon Bakehouse started a decade ago with a commitment to a climate-friendly, plant-based diet. As an Asian American who eats plant based for the planet, I couldn't find many culturally relevant options that fit my diet. After years of scouring Asian restaurant menus and perusing countless grocery store shelves with little luck, Little Moon Bakehouse was born in 2021.
The vision for Little Moon Bakehouse is to capture the magic of traditional Asian bakeries in an eco-conscious way. Here's to creating the best future for us all, one food memory at a time.
As the founder of Little Moon Bakehouse, I'm inspired by my Chinese-American upbringing and dedication to environmental protection to create plant-based versions of foods I once loved. From working in environmental policy to food tech to now running my own business, I'm focused on building a business that allows everyone to enjoy more sustainable versions of nostalgic, cultural pastries starting with earth-conscious Asian pastries." - Annie
