Radio XII
Jamey Williams is a multidisciplinary force to be reckoned with! Not only is he a: spoken word poet, lyricist, actor, playwright & storyteller; but he's also an accomplished educator and event organizer. He's been performing and teaching internationally for almost a decade, using his powerful stage presence and deeply nuanced writing to captivate audiences all over. His newest venture was launching Radio XII, a platform for entertainment that sits at the intersection of event curation and artists-based gatherings.
Guest Damneet Kaur
D. Kaur (Damneet Kaur) is a poet, educator, and operations-minded dreamer. She holds an MFA in Creative Writing from Saint Mary’s College of California, where her work explored inheritance, language, girlhood, and the quiet architectures of love.
A first-generation Punjabi Sikh woman, Damneet writes toward community — toward the kitchen tables, wedding halls, front yards, and classrooms that shape us. Her poems and essays ask what it means to stay, to witness, and to imagine beyond what we were handed.
This event is free and open to the public; no RSVP required.
