Radio XII

Jamey Williams is a multidisciplinary force to be reckoned with! Not only is he a: spoken word poet, lyricist, actor, playwright & storyteller; but he's also an accomplished educator and event organizer. He's been performing and teaching internationally for almost a decade, using his powerful stage presence and deeply nuanced writing to captivate audiences all over. His newest venture was launching Radio XII, a platform for entertainment that sits at the intersection of event curation and artists-based gatherings.

Guest Darius Rashad Parker

Darius Rashad Parker is a Queer Black scholar, activist, poet, and performer from Chicago with degrees in Journalism and Critical Ethnic Studies. He currently serves as an adjunct professor at DePaul University and as the Director of Creative Youth Development and Arts In Education at Mighty Youth Speaks. His work centers on social justice, educational equity, and anti-racist practices by leveraging arts and culture to empower youth, families, and communities. Additionally, Darius leads local and national programming, contributes to educational think tanks, and serves as the National President of Delta Phi Delta Dance Fraternity Inc.
