Bay Area native Emily Fernwood founded Osa Major Wines in 2020, after years harvesting abroad. Emily showcases a distinct perspective on how to best express the bounty of California.
Her lineup moves across a mix of classic and less expected varieties, with current and recent releases including Semillon, Tocai Friulano, Pinot Noir, Mission, Tempranillo, Syrah, and Carignan. She focuses on classic, site-driven wines from organically farmed vineyards across the state. Her approach leans into heritage sites and a lighter, fresher interpretation of California wine built from early picking and low-intervention cellar work. That range is really the story of the project. It is not one house style imposed on everything, but a group of individual expressions driven by variety, site, and soil.
