Dvořák, Symphony No. 9: From the New World

The San Francisco Philharmonic invites you to the thrilling final concert of our 2024-2025 season! We'll begin with the riotous Danse Bacchanale from Saint-Saëens's Samson and Delilah. Then, we're delighted to be joined by Ani Bukujian, principal second violin with the San Francisco Ballet Orchestra, who will perform Barber's soaring Violin Concerto--it's sure to wow listeners. Finally, we'll present Dvořák's New World Symphony, first performed in 1893 and taken along--as a recording--by Neil Armstrong to the moon. Don't miss this evening of music!
