Celebrate Pride with five short films by queer filmmakers, highlighting stories of identity, community, resilience, and liberation.

Join us for the inaugural edition of Solidarity Cinema, a new monthly film series at KALW Public Media. Tickets are available on a sliding scale of $5–$25 (NOTAFLOF), with proceeds benefiting the Transgender, Gender-Variant & Intersex Justice Project and KALW Public Media.

Solidarity Cinema is a community-run archive of more than 9,000 films documenting solidarity, struggle, and social movements around the world. By providing free access to radical cinema and supporting grassroots screenings, the project helps organizers, educators, and communities use film as a tool for learning, collective action, and social change.

Solidarity Cinema happens the final Friday of every month at 8:00 pm.

Please note:

  • The event space is just to the left of the main entrance to the Mills Building at 220 Montgomery Street
  • We recommend taking BART/MUNI, exiting at Montgomery, and walking two blocks north
  • Ride-shares can drop off and pick up directly in front of the venue
  • If you drive, there are several garages within two blocks of the event location
