Details
Join ICA SF for a collaborative embroidery workshop inspired by Masako Miki: Midnight March. Facilitated by artist Jasmine Narkita Wiley, guests are invited to gather around a large, hand-dyed indigo cloth to create a tapestry of stars and constellations together. The final collective artwork will mirror the Midnight March exhibition walls, capturing the experience of “jumping into” one of Masako Miki’s paintings.
This workshop welcomes stitchers of all levels—novice and skilled alike—to explore the meditative art of embroidery in community. Enjoy the rhythm of pulling thread through cloth, transform lines into texture, and discover how craft practices can deepen our relationship with art, with ourselves, and with one another.
