Celebrate local democracy, Bay Area style! KALW is thrilled to bring back Mad Props, a participation party where state and local propositions come to life through performances from journalists, contributors, and storytellers. Jenee Darden, host of KALW's Sights & Sounds emcees this high energy night of community, creativity, and citizenship.

This is your chance to learn, laugh, and get informed before filling out your ballots. Plus, you’ll leave with KALW’s Ballot Guide to help you stay organized.

We'll even have free food from our sponsor Joyride Pizza and drinks for donation from our sponsor Standard Deviant Brewing.

• The event space is just to the left of the main entrance to the Mills Building at 220 Montgomery Street
• We recommend taking BART/MUNI, exiting at Montgomery, and walking two blocks north
• Ride-shares can drop off and pick up directly in front of the venue
• If you drive, there are several garages within two blocks of the event location
