Epicenter San Francisco: A Tour of Downtown | "The Tides of Fortune that Changed the World”
The San Francisco Historical Society invites you to explore our extraordinary downtown on this self-guided walking tour and delve into its architectural gems, including historic financial institutions and iconic companies. Understand how this area evolved into a powerhouse of wealth, find the original coastline, and see how landfill claimed new real estate. Explore how San Francisco’s downtown might reinvent itself as industries change and our concept of the workplace continues to evolve. Each stop will be staffed with docents sharing colorful stories and historical insights.
Adults: $25, Youth Ages 9-17: $10, Child Ages 8 or Younger: FREE. All ticket registrants will be emailed a link to the self-guided resources page during the week of the tour.
