About the Artist
Spectre Lab is a French creative studio based in Paris, specializing in immersive experiences, video mapping, 3D animation, and interactive installations.
Since 2014, the studio has been creating large-scale visual experiences for cultural venues, festivals, and events in France and internationally. Its work combines storytelling, moving images, architecture, and technology to transform spaces into immersive, engaging environments.
Spectre Lab supports each project from artistic concept and creative development through final production and on-site adaptation.
About the Work
Winter is not white everywhere, nor is it cold everywhere. There are nights when people dance to welcome it, bells that ring to purify it, lanterns that rise to illuminate it.
Across the world, in the heart of winter, the same ember glows: the warmth of coming together, of whispered wishes, of lights we kindle to carry us through the night.
For if there is one thing winter teaches every culture, it is to come together—to share a meal, a dance, a flame. To gather, not despite the cold, but because of it.
Winter Embers is this journey—from Beijing to Kyoto, from Rio to Dakar—in search of that shared warmth hidden beneath the ice, and of the light we never keep for ourselves alone.
