Yiying Lu is an award-winning artist, entrepreneur, and TEDx speaker. Named one of the “Fast Company Most Creative People in Business,” Microsoft's “Top 10 Emerging Leader in Innovation”, and a “Shorty Awards” winner in Design, Yiying has created iconic designs seen by billions of people, including the Twitter Fail Whale, Conan O'Brien Pale Whale, Dumpling & Boba Tea Emojis, and the Chinese Style Mickey Mouse for the Disney Shanghai opening.
Her work has been featured in tier-one media outlets such as The New York Times, Forbes, The Wall Street Journal, and BBC. Born and raised in Shanghai, China, educated in Sydney, Australia & London, UK, she is now based in San Francisco and runs her innovation studio with corporate clients, including Apple, Google, Salesforce and Airbnb. Her name means “Happy & Creative,” and her life purpose is to bring more Happiness & Creativity through her work to the world.
