On Monday, March 17th, 2025, Front Street will be closed to traffic and the Front Street Entertainment Zone will transform into the ultimate Irish party from 2 PM to 10 PM. Indulge in classic Irish fare, sip on green beer and Guinness, enjoy live music, and soak up the festive vibes brought to you by local favorites like Harrington's Bar & Grill, Schroeder's, Royal Exchange, Irish Times, and Patriot House.

Enjoy performances by Cali Celtic (California/Irish Fusion Band), Playground Hooligans (Punk/Rock Cover Band) featuring Special Guest Uriah Duffy (Bassist), Hal Wilkes (Bagpiper), Murphy Irish Dancers, Eamonn Flynn (Guitar) and Darcy Nooman (Fiddle).

CaliCeltic

CaliCeltic has mixed two sides of one big ol’ pond to produce a different musical vibe that is both Irish and Californian. Mandolin and electric guitar strum alongside rock 'n roll drums, melodic piccolo and flute. CaliCeltic is a Bay Area favorite year-round!


Playground Hooligans

The band you’ve never heard of and will likely never forget. This NorCal Alt Rock/Pop Punk Band consists of: Spencer Scruggs (Lead Vox/Guitar), Jonathan Williamson (Bass Guitar), and Roman Anderson (Drums). Playground Hooligans will be joined by special guest Uriah Duffy (Bassist).

Hal Wilkes

Hal Wilkes gained fame during the pandemic by going up to his Castro rooftop and playing a song every night at sunset. Performing for 111 straight days, he became a beloved fixture in his neighborhood and earned the nickname “Pied Piper of the Castro”. He is a member of the Irish Pipers Band of San Francisco which formed in 1932 and is the oldest continuously active Irish pipe band west of the Mississippi River.


Murphy Irish Dancers

Established in 1963, the Murphy Irish Dancers, a Bay Area-based Irish dance company, stands as a testament to the enduring passion and commitment of its founder, Mary Jo Murphy-Feeney. Rooted in family values, the company, now co-artistic and directed by Mary Jo and her daughter Patricia Feeney-Conefrey, has evolved into a thriving institution spanning generations. Their dancers of won many regional, national and world titles. They will be performing and teaching Irish dance moves!


Eamonn Flynn & Darcy Noonan

Irish keyboardist, guitarist, singer and songwriter Eamonn Flynn forges his own kind of Irish soul. Growing up in Dublin, he was steeped in rock 'n' roll as well as Irish songs sung around his home. Eamonn will be joined by Darcy Noonan, a native of the San Francisco Bay Area. She started her music career at the age of 6 and has studied with masters of Irish music in Ireland and performed gigs all over the world.
