Battery Bridge
Originally closed to vehicles in 2020 during the COVID-19 health pandemic, the crossover known as “Battery Bridge” is now the Downtown SF Partnership’s newest pedestrian plaza for everyone to enjoy. The plaza, located on Battery Street between Bush and Market next to the iconic, mid-century tower One Bush Street, features a 1,900 square foot street mural called "Estero en Movimiento" that brings the natural beauty of Drake’s Bay to San Francisco’s urban core.

The varying shades used in the piece invoke the stunning landscape colors and forms found in the Pacific Ocean, forests, farmlands, marshes, and shrublands that make up the estuary along the Point Reyes National Seashore.
