Maintaining Downtown’s Street Poles

Call us obsessive, but we LOVE a clean and beautiful downtown, including everything from our sidewalks to our street poles. That’s why our Cleaning Ambassadors took on the special project of giving over 700 of the street poles in our district a fresh coat of paint beginning the fall of 2023. This effort is ongoing as we maintain this often overlooked but important asset in our public realm.

You’ll notice shiny green street poles in these areas:

  • Market Street between Kearny and the Embarcadero
  • Montgomery between Pacific and Market
  • Sansome between Pacific and Market
