San Francisco's Biggest Bavarian Block Party Returns!
Dust off your lederhosen and dirndl! Oktoberfest on Front, San Francisco’s official Oktoberfest block party, is back on Friday, September 18, 2026 (2–10 PM).
Co-hosted by the Downtown SF Partnership and Schroeder’s, join us for a full-blown Bavarian celebration in the streets featuring live music, legendary beer hall games, and, of course, enough authentic German beer to fill your stein (and then some).
Sing and dance along to authentic Bavarian polka and yodeling by Ladyhosen, followed by classic party hits by powerhouse band Pop Rocks. Test your strength in our stein-holding and non-alcoholic beer chugging contests, then refuel with German bites and 70+ beers on tap across Schroeder’s, Harrington’s, and Royal Exchange (featured menu items below). Featuring Classic Hofbräu Oktoberfestbier and Hofbräu Helles Lager, 'Brat in a Bun' bratwurst with sauerkraut and bourbon mustard aioli, Jello Shots, and a 'Summer in the City' cocktail, featuring a blend of cucumber-infused vodka, fresh watermelon puree, lime juice, and agave.
Featuring 40 Beers on Tap, Pretzels Knots with a Honey Mustard Dipping Sauce, Bratwurst on a Bun with Sauerkraut and French Fries, a Bratwurst Platter with Sauerkraut and Roasted Potatoes, Classic Cheeseburger, Chicken Club, and a Chimichurri Steak Sandwich.
Featuring their famous 'Big Ass Pretzels', Crispy Reuben Egg Rolls, Class Bratwursts on Pretzel Buns Topped with Sauerkraut, 30oz Steins, Oktoberfest Lager from Trumer, Jager Bombs, and Jager Shots.

LADYHOSEN
With a real Bavarian girl fronting the band, Ladyhosen is the real deal when it comes to Oktoberfest Entertainment. The four women play traditional songs, as well as classics that everyone can sing along to. The mix of accordion, tuba, and drums make for a perfect polka feel, and the yodeler's voice acrobatics are the cherry on top.

A powerhouse band bringing arena-level energy to the dance floor with flawless vocals (male and female), a blazing horn section, and a nonstop setlist of Top 40 hits, 80s/90s throwbacks, Motown gold, and hip-hop anthems. No filler—just wall-to-wall bangers to keep you grooving.
