ABOUT: Claudio Talavera-Ballón is a Peruvian-born painter based in San Francisco, CA. A disciple of acclaimed artist Luis Palao Berastain, he skillfully captures the essence of ordinary people’s lives and their surroundings across diverse regions and cultures of the Americas. He explores themes that highlight important social and cultural aspects of the people and places he has encountered. His work is also a tribute to immigrants like himself who left their home countries in search of new horizons.
ABOUT: Johnny Doughnuts For us, it all started with learning the art of handcrafted doughnuts made from wholesome ingredients. Inspired by history, our recipes started with classic doughs from the 1920’s that we play with based on seasonality and the freshest local ingredients we can find. Our doughnuts are handmade with care, and are fresh every day, of course.
ABOUT: Charith Premawardhana (Violin) is the founder and director of Classical Revolution. Born in Sri Lanka, raised in Chicago, and residing in San Francisco since 2004, Charith studied at the MERIT School of Music, National High School Music Institute, Interlochen Arts Camp and Academy, Oberlin Conservatory, Ohio State University (BM), Civic Orchestra of Chicago, Rice University (MM), Aspen Music Festival and School, and San Francisco Conservatory (Artist Certificate).
Charith is proficient on violin, viola, and guitar, having played all 3 instruments since an early age – more recent pursuits include arranging, conducting, and arts administration.
Experience gained in leading the Classical Revolution has led to a keen interest in fostering a vibrant network of musicians, which Charith draws from in contracting dozens of weddings and private events each year, as well as major concert appearances with performers such as Foreigner, Evanescence, Third Eye Blind, Lindsey Stirling, and The Irish Tenors.
