ABOUT:
Richard Michos has performed his guitar music extensively, both locally and internationally.
He has produced music with such luminaries as Miles Copeland, Narada Michael Walden, Ustad Salamat Ali Khan, and Cheb in Sabahh. Also an established studio musician and music producer, his solo performances display a rich tapestry of tastefully amplified acoustic guitar mixed with a masterful use of loops which give an amazingly full and pleasant listening experience. A mix of pop, international, latin, light jazz, and classic rock styles give a soothing but stimulating effect, and audiences are always complimentary.

Duo with wife, Riffat Sultana on vocals
Riffat Sultana channels the musical wisdom of 500 years and eleven generations of master vocalists from India and Pakistan. Daughter of legendary classical singer, the late Maestro Ustad Salamat Ali Khan. Riffat is the first woman from her family's musical lineage to publicly perform in the west. Riffat performs a wide variety of traditional and modern material from the Indian sub-continent, including, Sufi, Geet, Ghazal, Filmi, Qawwali, and Bhangra. Her electric ensemble features guitar and percussion, with grooving bass and drums!. Highlighting her performances are devotional, and ecstatic Sufi songs to great saints like Shahabaz Qalander and Baba Bule Shah, as well as Bollywood and Bhangra hits are sure to move your heart, soul, and feet!
