FREE BLOCK PARTY
Oktoberfest on Front, hosted by the Downtown SF Partnership, attendees donned their lederhosen and dirndl to party with Schroeder's (the oldest Bavarian Beer Hall in SF), Harrington's Bar & Grill, and Royal Exchange! Mouthwatering bratwurst, ice-cold beer, live music, and traditional Oktoberfest games flowed through Front Street in downtown San Francisco. Oktoberfest on Front is a larger iteration of Schroeder’s annual Oktoberfest block party and was the first-ever Entertainment Zone event in California. Front Street Entertainment Zone (located between California and Sacramento Streets), home to iconic downtown bars such as Harrington's Bar and Grill, Schroeder's, and Royal Exchange, is now California's first "Entertainment Zone!" This allows brick-and-mortar establishments to sell alcoholic beverages for outdoor consumption on the street during special events and programs.
