Born in India and now based in San Francisco, Annoushqa combines her academic training with a curiosity about how people interact with cities through data. She holds a B.S. in Applied Mathematics from UC Davis and an M.S. in Applied Economics from the University of San Francisco, where her thesis examined how crop insurance can reduce income volatility for Indian farmers- connecting policy design with lived outcomes through data.

At the Downtown SF Partnership, Annoushqa aligns her interest in economic systems and spatial dynamics with the organization’s mission to foster a more vibrant and inclusive downtown. She applies her background in data science and economics to analyze urban systems, monitor key indicators, and assess the impact of public realm interventions. Her work includes building and maintaining datasets, developing analytical frameworks and models, and producing visualizations that support strategic planning and decision-making. She values clarity, context, and accessibility in data storytelling, believing that well-structured insights can drive more informed and equitable outcomes.

Outside of work, Annoushqa enjoys walking through San Francisco’s neighborhoods and exploring its diverse food scene- drawn to the ways people engage with space, culture, and community.
