Born in San Francisco, Claude came from a family dedicated to civic engagement and community stewardship as pillars of strong, vibrant, and health communities. He’s a collaborative leader with experience leading complex organization-wide initiatives. Claude serves as the Deputy Director for the Downtown SF Partnership, providing public space management services to 43-blocks of downtown San Francisco. His interests include urban design, organizational psychology, behavioral economics, and general systems theory. Claude holds a B.S. in City & Regional Planning from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo, and an M.A. in Change Leadership from the California School of Professional Psychology. He lives with his partner in an 1870s Italianate Victorian in San Francisco’s Castro district with their cat Cosmo.
