Born and raised in San Francisco, Rich takes great pride in his Bay Area roots. Having spent most of his life here, he brings a deep connection to the local community. After a successful career in law enforcement, Rich transitioned to the private sector, where for the past 15 years he has excelled in senior operations management roles. His expertise includes directing clean and safe programs in prominent areas such as Downtown San Jose, Downtown Santa Monica, and Union Square in San Francisco. Additionally, as Regional Vice President for a national service provider, he managed sixteen clean and safe programs across the Bay Area and Northern California.

Rich holds a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice with a minor in business administration, equipping him with a robust understanding of program development, organization, and expectation management. His background allows him to address the unique challenges faced by today’s urban environments effectively.

He is an active member of the International Downtown Association, the California Downtown Association, and the American Society for Industrial Safety (ASIS). Outside of work, Rich enjoys traveling the world with his wife, savoring fine champagne, attending concerts and festivals, and passionately supporting all Bay Area sports teams.
