About Angie Major
Angie Major has been partner dancing since she was 12 years old and enjoys sharing her love of dance through teaching and performing. She has performed in numerous shows from small events and parties to onstage at San Francisco’s Cowell Theater and the Napa Valley Opera House. Formerly a competitive dancer, Angie is focused now on teaching social dancing and creating unique first dances for wedding couples, with the goal of increasing joy by teaching the world to dance together.
About the Performance
The performance features full-time Bay Area competitors and teachers Oscar Rodriguez and Chrystal Chen, who train in International 10 Dance and are WDCAL amateur Over 30 world finalists in International Latin, alongside Mark Novak, an artist of many disciplines who has been working as a professional dancer, teacher, and choreographer for four decades. Together, these artists bring their extensive backgrounds—spanning ballroom championships, competitive dance, and stage productions from San Francisco's Cowell Theater to television and film—to create a dynamic showcase focused on the joy of movement and the transformative power of dance.
