There is nowhere quite like San Francisco to celebrate Pride Month. Widely recognized as the "Gay Capital of the World" and a foundational pillar of the global LGBTQ+ rights movement, the city definitely knows a thing or two about showing up and showing out.

From the historic streets of the Castro to the rainbow-lined corridors of Market Street, there are countless ways to experience one of the loudest, proudest, and truest celebrations of love that is SF Pride.

Regardless of who you are or how you identify, San Francisco welcomes you with open arms.



(6/4) DOWNTOWN FIRST THURSDAYS FT. JANELLE MONÁE

Queer Icon. Actor. Music visionary. That's right, THE Janelle Monáe is making her way to San Francisco to headline Downtown First Thursdays. Join one of the city's hottest block parties for an electric night of live music, local vendors, happy hour specials, drag performances, and so much more. Event starts at 5pm.

(6/5) DRAG ME DOWNTOWN | 101 CALIFORNIA PLAZA

San Francisco's Pride Pop-Up Drag Show Series, Drag Me Downtown, is back every Friday this June! Expect fierce lip-syncs by 13 Bay Area drag icons—including Jax from season 15 of RuPaul's Drag Race—flirty drink specials, and a whole lotta glam.

Catch the first show at 101 California Plaza on Friday, June 5, from 4:30–7 PM, featuring performances by host and drag icon Bobby Friday, Todd Hotty, Nicki Jizz, and Hera Wynn.

(6/6) TOGETHER AS 1 PRIDE CELEBRATION

Celebrate community with handcrafted cocktails and iconic patio views! Hosted by Terrene, this event supports the SF LGBT Center, connecting community members to vital resources and opportunities.

Enjoy beats by DJ Stanley Frank and performances by drag royalty, including Tila Pia, Carnie Asada, Nicki Jizz, and Betty Fresas. Event runs from 11AM – 2PM.

(6/7) PRIDE IN YERBA BUENA!

An uproarious variety show manifesting the fabulous creative diversity of queer artistic expression, Pride in Yerba Buena! celebrates San Francisco’s LGBTQIA community with the best in drag, circus arts and music.

With drag king Tyson Check-In serving as host and headliner joined by drag queen and the current San Francisco Drag Laureate Per Sia, the afternoon is filled with thrills, quips and zingers. This all-ages event runs 2–4 PM.

(6/12) DRAG ME DOWNTOWN | FERRY BUILDING

San Francisco's Signature Pride Pop-Up Drag Series heads to the waterfront for its second installment at the historic Ferry Building Back Plaza! Grab a bevy or bite, enjoy the bayside views, and watch the plaza transform into a high-energy runway, featuring show-stopping performances by legendary host Bobby Friday, alongside King SlayHer, Lisa Frankenstein, and Miss Shugana.

(6/19) DRAG ME DOWNTOWN | THE CONSERVATORY

San Francisco's Signature Pop-Up Drag Series returns for a special third installment to celebrate Juneteenth and Pride at The Conservatory at One Sansome.

Set in one of Downtown's most breathtaking architectural spaces, the evening promises a spectacular blend of culture, community, and glamour. Audiences can look forward to a powerful lineup of performances featuring host Bobby Friday, Madd Dogg 20/20, Mercedez Munro, and Saiyohni Gray.

(6/20) VALLEY OF THE QUEENS | QUEER HISTORY TOUR

Explore the vibrant and revolutionary queer history of San Francisco’s Tenderloin and Polk Street neighborhoods with local resident and expert, Professor Shawn Sprockett.

This tour, aptly named “Valley of the Queens,” offers a deep dive into the emergence of LGBTQIA+ icons and movements that shaped the area from the 1960s to the 1990s. The walk highlights landmark events such as the Compton’s Cafeteria Riot—a moment of trans resistance that predates the Stonewall Riots—and the site of San Francisco’s first Pride parade.

(6/20) THE UNSPEAKABLE VICE | QUEER HISTORY TOUR

Starting at the San Francisco Historical Society, this exciting tour explores the secret history of queer nightlife in the city, concluding with a round of drinks at a notorious North Beach location.

Guests will zig-zag by more than a dozen lost queer bars as they hear the stories of how the "unspeakable vice" of the Victorians found its place and, through the process, gained a powerful voice. The tour ends at Maggy McGary's pub—the site of an infamous lesbian hook-up spot on Grant Avenue. Attendees must be 21+. Tour takes place from 11AM - 12:30PM. Ticket includes on alcoholic beverage.

(6/26) DRAG ME DOWNTOWN GRAND FINALE

Kick off Pride Weekend with the Grand Finale of Drag Me Downtown, San Francisco's pop-up drag show series. 

Hosted inside the iconic Merchants Exchange, a historic downtown landmark, the celebration features fierce lip-syncs, flirty cocktails, and maximum glamour from 4:30–7 PM. Host Bobby Friday, Curveball, and Hennessy Williams take the stage alongside extra-special guest star Jax from Season 15 of RuPaul's Drag Race.

(6/27) THE PEOPLES MARCH AND TRANS ALLY RALLY

Take to the streets and stand with key community partners—including SF Pride, San Francisco Dyke March, and SF Dykes on Bikes— to show your support for the Trans Community! The march starts at 10AM and is from the Embarcadero Plaza to Civic Center. After the march, join the rally at the People’s March stage at the Civic Center Pride celebration. (6/27-28) SF PRIDE CELEBRATION AT CIVIC CENTER

Celebrate this year’s theme, “Resistance in Action,” across two action-packed days of community, demonstrations, and entertainment. Anchoring the weekend is the Civic Center Celebration, a free all-ages event featuring live entertainment on the Main Stage, multiple community-curated hubs, and an exhibitor street fair. No tickets required!

(6/28) THE 56TH ANNUAL SAN FRANCISCO PRIDE PARADE

A world-famous display of community and joy, standing as one of the largest LGBTQ+ celebrations on earth, bringing together hundreds of thousands of marchers, advocates, and spectators. Starting Downtown at 10:30am on Sunday morning, watch 250 contingents march along Market Street to Civic Center Plaza, led by 2026 Grand Marshalls, Peaches Christ and Honey Mahogany.
