Let’s Glow SF 2023
Let’s Glow SF 2023 kicked off on December 1, 2023 at 6 PM, at the foot of Market Street facing the Ferry Building, with a Countdown To Glow that was FREE and open to the public. The Downtown SF Partnership was joined by joined by Mayor London Breed, the City of San Francisco, A3 Visual, Presenting Sponsor, Amazon, Let’s Glow SF artists and more to countdown the start of the holiday season. Starting at 6 PM, complimentary hot chocolate, ube hot chocolate, s’mores, ube s’mores, and gluten-free chocolate cupcakes from Marley's Treats and FREE Let's Glow SF swag were available to attendees on a first-come, first-served basis. The press conference began at 6:30 PM with the projections officially being switched on at 7 PM. Entertainment featured Winter Stilt Walkers with Catalyst Arts.
Let’s Glow SF, the country’s largest holiday projection event, returned to downtown San Francisco for the holiday season, from December 1st through 10th, 2023. The FREE outdoor holiday event used high-tech Panasonic projectors and lasers to project large-scale art concepts across the facade of five iconic SF buildings from 5-10 PM nightly, including the Ferry Building for the first time ever. The Salesforce Tower showcased Let’s Glow SF artwork on the LED panel atop the building, visible throughout the Bay Area. On December 1st, 2023, the first night of Let's Glow SF, the shows ran from 7:00 PM to 10:00 PM at all 6 locations. From December 2nd-10th, 2023, the shows ran from 5:00 PM to 10:00 PM at all 6 locations.
To support Let's Glow SF 2024, donations would be kindly appreciated.
Let’s Glow SF was hosted by The Downtown SF Partnership (DSFP), the community benefit district that oversees 43 blocks across San Francisco’s Financial District and Jackson Square Historic District, and was organized by A3 Visual. The signature event was part of citywide efforts to activate downtown’s public realm and increase programming as a form of placemaking across the city, and was partially funded through an economic recovery grant from the San Francisco Office of Economic and Workforce Development and Office of Mayor London N. Breed.
Local participating retailers and businesses offered themed drinks and bites for Let’s Glow SF attendees throughout the entire 10-night event. During Let's Glow SF, attendees showed the Glow Badge to servers at participating restaurants to receive special discounts and deals.
We thank attendees for coming to Let's Glow SF!

Schroeder's: "Effervescent" Cocktail
The "Effervescent" is a play on the champagne cocktail, but with those rich holiday season notes that brandy, black cherries, and oranges tend to invoke. The word “effervescent” has long been used to describe a fizzy drink made with cheap wine, fruits, and carbon dioxide. Our upgraded version both represents the upbeat SF vibe while paying homage to the simplistic beauty of artistic interpretation as well as the vivacious enthusiasm of the artistic mind!
